Miles Beining was born in Tochigi City, Tochigi, Japan, and lives in Madison, Wisconsin. Miles wrote and directed the short film Teen Spirit and received a Merit Award from Best of The Midwest Media Fest for his local show Animal Time. In addition to writing, Miles likes to play music, work on amateur film projects, and promote animal rights.
